BREAK Provides:

  • Interesting Bible Lessons
  • Fun Songs & Activities

  • A Christ-Centered Environment

BREAK Bible lessons are designed with four goals in mind:

  2. Discipleship - teaching students to follow Jesus the Christ and obey all His commands.
  3. Apologetics - presenting a logical defense of the Christian faith and helping Christian students be able to logically defend their faith.
  4. Worldview - training students to think biblically - applying God's Word to all aspects of life.
BREAK classes take place during the school day for up to one hour per week at an off-campus location near the school. This program is currently being offered as an elective for students in grades three through six who attend one of the following schools: Corbin Primary; Corbin Elementary; Oak Grove Elementary; Whitley County North Elementary; Whitley County Central Intermediate; Williamsburg Elementary.

Participation in BREAK is completely voluntary. Children attend ONLY at the request of their parent(s) or guardian(s). Parents must request BREAK using a BREAK Request Form each school year they wish their child to participate.

BREAK classes emphasize practical application of Biblical principles as well as character training (for example: Kindness, Generosity, Honesty, Diligence, Respect, etc.) BREAK classes are safe and fun! No exclusive denominational teachings are presented. No child will be excluded due to religion, race, gender, national origin, or economic status.
